Karnataka CET 2013 Online Application Form


Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Examination Authority(KEA), Bangalore, Applicaions are invited from eligible candidates of Karnataka Including the wards of Jammu and Kashmir migrants for registration for the Common Entrance Test 2013 for Admission to first year Medical / Dental / Ayurveda /Homoeopathy /Unani /Naturopathy and Yoga/Engineering /Techonology/Architecture Courses for the seats to be  notified by the Government in the Professional Educational Institutions in the State of Karnataka for the academic year 2013-14. 


Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) decided on the dates for the Common Entrance Test (CET). The test will be held on May 1, 2 and 3, 2013. CET is the qualifying examination for both medical and engineering courses, medical seat aspirants will have to wait for the Supreme Court’s final verdict on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) to find out if they have to write the CET.

The subject papers will be held on May 1 and 2, while the Kannada test for students applying under the ‘Horanadu’ and ‘Gadinadu’ categories will be on May 3.






Admission to Architecture course the candidate must appear for NATA(National Aptitude Test in Architecture) Conducted by the Council of Architecture and they must compulsorily obtain CET 2013.

Eligibility :

For B.E:
The applicants must have passed their HSC or tantamount examination which is of 10+2 level with minimum of 50% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as their major subjects. English should be one of the Languages in their HSC level. SC, ST students of India and OBC students of Karnataka should have minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in HSC.


For B.Arch :
HSC qualification or equivalent qualification of 10+2 or 10+3 with Mathematics as one of their subjects and with minimum of 50% marks are eligible. The Indian SC / ST students should have minimum of 45% marks. Karnataka OBC students should have minimum of 45% marks.


For MBBS /MDS:
The applicants must have passed their HSC or tantamount examination which is of 10+2 level with minimum of 50% aggregate marks with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as their major subjects. SC, ST students of India and OBC students of Karnataka should have minimum of 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology in HSC.
